Burn permits are required from the Tennessee Division of Forestry from October 15, 2026 to May 15, 2027 for debris piles in areas without local restrictions.

If you live in the Fire Districts for Brighton (901-475-6536), Covington (901-476-2578), or Munford (901-837-5960) please contact their office for permits. Otherwise, go HERE to either get a permit online or by phone.
